I have known this day would come for a long time. I have prepared myself.
I hereby adopt the English spelling of 'Moulding' and will no longer write 'Molding'. The transition may be difficult. I may fall off the wagon from time to time. I will likely never change the spelling in my head.
Moulding....there, I said it.

ReplyDeleteWhen I was building an SEO keyword list for the new website at the lumber yard where I work, I agonized over this spelling since one of our biggest products is moulding and millwork. My research eventually turned up a correlation between hardwoods and mouldings vs. softwood/MDF and molding. It could still be a stretch but I choose to believe the folks serious about fine work use the moulding spelling.
