Congratulations Matt that is a very inspiring place to work! What was the space before? How do like the adjustable bench? I have back issues and considered one.
Chris, We moved into our house about a year ago. We've had various plans for this space above the garage: rent, playroom, extra bedroom for guests, etc. etc. etc. I never planned to move into it because I didn't want to run back and forth to my machinery in the basement. It's been empty and unused too long.
I have my shop in the bonus room also. Its not as damp and I think you will appreciate that.Warmer in the winter hotter in the summer take your pick.I really enjoy reading your stuff.I got the dvd's about two years ago and I started doing my own mouldings. Then I started a biz doin it for others till the economy ate me.Now we are back building furniture. There is something about doing the moulding thing that really appeals to my inner self.
What a nice change for you. The quality of the planes will measured in leaps and bounds. Good for you!!! Enjoy. John
